2nd Annual REDSTRONG Golf Tournament
On behalf of the entire Powers family we would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the people involved in making the golf tournament a huge success. The sponsors, the golfers, Townsend Ridge Country club, the basket makers the tremendous weather and all the volunteers.
Richie surely had a big smile on his face that day. We all love him and miss him terribly and that beautiful day was an excellent sign of his love for all of us.

2017 REDSTRONG Scholarship award winner: Lucas Amico
On June 1st Leominster high school gave out scholarships totaling $287,000. The Powers family is so proud and it gives us great pleasure to be a part of that. Out of 20 applicants our recipient really stood out from the rest. We are pleased to announce the winner of this year’s 2017 Richie Powers REDSTRONG Scholarship went to Lucas Amico. Good luck to the class of 2017.

A fun day was enjoyed by prospering athletes who participated in soccer tennis, basketball, and cup stacking just to name a few. The kids had a great time and helped a great cause.

The 2nd Annual RedStrong blood drive will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church on Saturday, November 26th from 8:30-4:30. Last years drive was an amazing success thanks to Lauren Sciacca, a former field hockey player of my Mom’s. She is an incredible, miracle woman who puts her heart and soul into everything. Recently, she has found herself battling for her life, and RedStrong would like to help. Please come to support our friend Lauren and so many others in dyer need of blood. Save the date to donate and save a life because you just NEVER know! We also ask for you to just Pray. You can visit Lauren’s Love Fund to help her with medical costs.
